In the arenas

Turbos, banana skins, scarabs, smoke bombs: the house now sells the arsenal in broad daylight. Twenty-one items, four tiers of rarity, and two articles you can only pay for in diamonds.
What used to change hands under a coat is now sold on a polished counter. Twenty-one items, sorted by rarity: common in stone, rare in cyan, epic in violet, legendary in gold.
You'll find the classics — the hundred-token banana skin, the nap — and some more inventive stock. The Commissioner's Summons, for instance: a "doping check" that costs the targeted beast five seconds. The boss swears it is entirely within the rules.
And then there's the die. Yellowed ivory, hieroglyphs on every face, balanced on one corner. Al's Die: random effect, nobody knows which, and it costs twenty diamonds.
"Legendary is paid for in diamonds. The rest is paid for in regrets."
— Al Pacciamo, shopkeeper
Worth noting: he buys back. At a third of the price. He calls that generosity.
